Netherlands: consumers approving of a TikTok ban on professional devices 2023
According to a 2023 survey of consumers in the Netherlands, approximately 78 percent of respondents reported agreeing with a possible TikTok ban on devices used in work contexts. In comparison, around 22 percent of respondents reported they would disagree with a possible TikTok ban. At the end of March 2023, civil servants in the Netherlands have been banned from using the app on their work phones.
