Bulgaria had the largest share of female employees in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector among Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries, at over 29 percent in 2023. Furthermore, over a quarter of ICT employees in Estonia and Romania were women. The lowest share was recorded in Czechia at around 12 percent.
