During an early 2023 online survey conducted among adult members of Generation Z in the United States, 72 percent reported being receptive to advertisements on social media. Approximately 47 percent stated being open to ads on streaming TV. The shares for cable and broadcast TV stood both below 30 percent.

The source defines members of Generation Z as people born between 1997 and 2012. Since it only surveyed people aged 18 and above, respondents were born between 1997 and 2005.
