Over 18,500 chargers in Spain's public alternating current electric vehicle charging network were medium-speed AC charging points, making this the most common charging speed in the country in 2023. Slow AC charging points were the second most common AC charging power, with around 3,800 chargers of that type. This contrasts with Portugal, where slow AC charging decreased in volume between 2020 and 2022.
