In 2019, the French LGBTI people least likely to have disclosed their sexual orientation/gender identity to family members were bisexual men (51 percent), and intersex people (44 percent). Conversely, about half of homosexual individuals, both men and women, were out to all family members, and about a quarter were out to most of them.
In addition, only six percent of French lesbian women hid their sexual orientation from their entire family.
