UK: personal data gathering awareness raise motivations among users 2023, by gender
A February 2023 survey in the United Kingdom (UK) found that around four in 10 men became more aware of their personal data collection methods after seeing ads tracking them online. In comparison, about 43 percent of women were motivated by this. A further 32 percent of men and 30 percent of women said they became more conscious of their data privacy after significant data breaches.
