In 2019, nearly three-quarters of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex people lived in households with one or two people in France. However, this proportion was different depending on the sexual orientation of the respondent. 85 percent of gay men lived in households with less than three people, while bisexuals were the most likely to live in households with more than two people: 38 percent of women and 37 percent of men.
In the same year, 15 percent of LGBTQI people were raising one or more children with their partner.
