The American continent, led by the United States, accounted for the largest share of the global microgrids market in 2018 and 2022. However, the market share of the Americas dropped from 54 percent to 38 percent between these two years and is forecast to decrease to 34 percent by 2027. By comparison, the Asia-Pacific region, led by China, is expected to surpass the Americas and reach a market share of 43 percent by the end of the period under consideration.
