In 2023, environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) related issues and initiatives were becoming an increasing priority. From the business leaders surveyed, roughly eight out of 10 displayed a positive attitude towards all ESG initiatives. Positive attitudes from business managers are important for a firm when overcoming the challenges associated when implementing ESG processes.
Attitudes of business leaders towards environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) in selected countries of Asia Pacific in 2023
A quantitative study was conducted covering 937 decision-makers from primarily small (22%) and medium-sized (67%) companies who are involved in ESG decisions. The study covered China, Hong Kong, India, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Singapore, connecting with approximately 150 people in each region.
