Wind energy capacity targets in China 2021-2027

China has set ambitious renewable capacity targets for the next years. The country plans to reach a wind power capacity of almost 600 gigawatts by 2027, nearly doubling the total installed capacity as of 2021. In that year, China's cumulative wind energy capacity stood at 328.5 gigawatts.
