Liquefied natural gas reloads increased by 39 percent worldwide in 2022 in comparison to 2021. Spain had the highest volume of LNG reloads in the world, which amounted to 1.73 million metric tons in 2022. This was an increase of 78 percent compared to the previous year. Indonesia ranked second and had an LNG reloads volume of 820,000 metric tons in 2022, compared to 120,000 metric tons in 2021.
