Reasons for not attending a mammologist Russia

Over a third of Russian women who had not undergone a breast examination for two years or more admitted that nothing bothered them to attend a mammologist, according to a survey conducted in December 2021. Furthermore, more than one in ten said that they had no such specialist in a hospital or did not know where to go for a check-up. Approximately a fifth of cancer cases in Russia were diagnosed in the terminal stage of the disease in 2021.
