Consumers distrust for facial-recognition payments in France 2022
As of 2022, most French consumers were rather skeptical towards facial-recognition payments. Some 42 percent of surveyed respondents considered face recognition-based payment safe, with only 18 percent of French shoppers seeing them as very safe. Another 12 percent of interviewees were not aware of this method of payment.
