Number of pay TV subscribers in Portugal 2021-2023, by access type

In Portugal, the number of subscribers to pay television rose by more than three percent from 2021 to 2022, reaching a total of 4.5 million. Of all access types, FTTH registered the highest number of subscribers, namely 2.7 million. By 2023, they were over 2.9 million.
All other access types recorded decreases in their number of subscribers. ADSL was the form of TV access with the most pronounced decrease and with the fewest subscribers, ending 2023 with just 95,000.
