Worldwide: planned workforce strategies 2023-2027

In accordance with the business transformations expected in the next five years, over 80 percent of the surveyed companies report the plan of investing in learning and training on the job as well as in accelerating the automation of processes in the organization. The previous workforce strategies are by a large margin the most common ones, being followed by the transitioning of the existing staff and the outsource of significant areas of work - planned by approximately 45 and 25 percent of the companies, respectively. The least common strategy reported by the organizations was reducing the current workforce, being reported by approximately 12 percent of the surveyed companies.
