The ability to solve problems was the leading expectation Japanese consumers had of customer support services, as revealed in a survey conducted in February 2022. Around 58 percent of respondents stated that they expected customer services to solve their problems in case of an inquiry. As companies increase the integration of automated support solutions, around a quarter of respondents desired a person to respond to their contact request as much as possible.
