According to an online survey conducted in England in 2022, 87 percent of LGBT+ identifying teens said they would be likely to block and restrict accounts or groups in order to stay safe online and avoid harmful online content. Overall, nine percent of respondents reported being unlikely to block or restrict accounts to avoid such online behavior.
