Nearly one in three procurement professionals in manufacturing companies is planning to reduce costs, a worldwide survey from 2022 revealed. Another 22 percent of experts of in-house procurement departments considers digital transformation a strategic priority. In turn, only 11 percent of surveyed respondents included risk and crisis management in their procurement strategies.
