According to a survey on environmental and sustainability in Thailand as of January 2023, the respondents from the rest of Thailand admitted they bought and preferred local items at almost 25 percent which is a considerable difference compared to about 16 percent of the respondents from the central region of Thailand. However, overall the participants from the central region had a slightly higher percentage of sustainability-driven actions.
