Monterrey had the highest net absorption for industrial real estate among select Mexican cities in the first quarter of 2023. The net absorption in Monterrey was almost five times more than that of the second highest net absorption of 135,000 square meters recorded in Queretaro. The Guadalajara Metropolitan Area was the only city among the selected ones with a negative net absorption, meaning that more spaces were vacated than occupied in this quarter.
