In a survey conducted across four Southeast Asian countries in February 2023, more than half of the respondents in each country stated that they would likely or very likely use AI-powered chatbots such as ChatGPT for online search purposes in the future. At 12 percent, Singapore had the highest share of respondents that were either unlikely or very unlikely to use chatbots in the future.
