As of the second quarter of 2024, the worldwide demographic group most concerned about improper use of their data by companies were female internet users between 55 and 64 years. Almost four in ten internet users of this demographic group stated to have such concerns. Male users of the same age group ranked second, followed by female users between 45 and 54 years.
