Amount of funding towards Zero Hunger in India 2018-2022
In 2022, United Nations of India funded nearly a million U.S. dollars towards Zero Hunger in in the country. Zero Hunger, one of the sustainable development goals (SDGs), is a second transformative agenda established by the United Nations to end hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture in India across the world by 2030. Sustainable development goals were adopted by 193 member states at the UN General Assembly Summit in September 2015 to make Earth a better place to sustain life.
