In a survey conducted across six Southeast Asian countries in February 2023, 60 percent of the respondents in Vietnam felt either somewhat or very comfortable with the reduction in censorship on Twitter following Elon Musk's acquisition of the social media platform. In contrast, 41 percent of Singaporean respondents felt either somewhat or very uncomfortable with the reduction in censorship.
