During an October 2022 online survey in the United States, 39 percent of responding adults aged 18 to 34 said they learned about secondhand shopping opportunities through TV advertisements. This figure was slightly more than one-third (or 34 percent) among respondents aged 35 to 44. On the other hand, 84 percent of respondents aged over 65 said they had never seen, read, or heard about secondhand shopping opportunities through TV advertisements.
