Adoptions in Mexico in 2020, by type
In 2020, around 2,371 adoptions were recorded in Mexico. Of these, 82.4 percent of all adoptions were by heterosexual or married couples, and around 15.6 from single individuals. Just five adoptions by homosexual couples were recorded that year.
