In the financial year 2023, Spotify accounted for 26 percent of all music streams in the Indian audio streaming market. The global audio over-the-top platform had more than doubled its share of music streams since fiscal year 2020. Spotify is among the leading streaming platforms in the South Asian market and the only player to have more than 200 million subscribers as of 2022.
