During an October 2022 survey in the United States, over three-quarters (77 percent) of responding online adults said they had never seen, read, or heard about secondhand shopping opportunities through in-store advertisements. Meanwhile, 28 percent reported learning of such opportunities through TV commercials, and 26 percent through online targeted ads.
