Since the Premier League's first season, the average age of managers has generally increased, from 45 years and 162 days in the 1992/93 season to 48 years and 53 days in 2022/23. Meanwhile, Otto Rehhagel, the oldest manager in FIFA World Cup history, was aged 71 years and 317 days when he led Greece into the 2010 tournament.
