In 2023, producer prices of constructing residential buildings rose by nearly 2.8 percent. Meanwhile, the cost of erecting a non-residential building fell by 0.26 percent that year. Turkey was by far the country with the highest housing construction price increase in Southern Europe in 2023, as it has been struggling with hyperinflation.
