The producer price of transport infrastructure work in Italy increased in 2023. That year, the construction cost of bridges and tunnels was 0.96 higher than in 2022. The cost of roads and motorways fell in 2016 and 2017 but grew every other year. Infrastructure construction costs in Germany also rose in 2023.
