Reasons for drinking wine in Japan 2022
The taste and smell were the leading reason among wine drinkers in Japan for consuming the fermented alcoholic beverage regularly. As revealed in a survey conducted in September 2022, over 60 percent of respondents drank wine because they liked the taste and smell of the liquor. The simplicity to pair it with different foods was another common reason named by 46.4 percent of respondents.
