Between 2018 and 2022, 1,364 clean vehicle grants from the Clean Vehicle Assistance Program were attributed to consumers in the Los Angeles county. Around 75.51 percent of these were grants for the purchase of a fully electric vehicle, which was over three times the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle grant volume. Orange and San Diego were the second and third counties with the most grants received by consumers, at 677 and 389 grants respectively.
