According to a survey conducted in Turkey during Ramadan and before Eid al-Fitr (Ramazan Bayramı) 2023, more than half of respondents shared that they did not shop for new clothes for the Eid celebration, and did not plan to either. Only 14 percent of the respondent went clothes shopping for Eid. In Turkey, it has been a long-standing tradition to go shopping for new clothes, especially for children, before the Eid celebration.
