In 2021, the growth rate of the metal and steel production industry experienced an increase in almost all subsections, despite the iron and steel sector. According to the source, only Non-ferrous metals and casting sectors are forecasted to register positive growth figures. In particular, the iron & steel sector is expected to narrow down by 4.1 percent compared to the 2022 forecast.
