In 2022, mobile app install frauds across all examined categories on iOS devices made us for the most bot operations. Bots were used in almost 80 percent of the fraudulent installs of shopping apps, as well as in approximately 78 percent of all fake installs of finance apps. Casino gaming apps were more likely than other app categories to be targeted by click flooding as fraudulent installs, as well as fake publishers activity.
