As of September 2022, a survey conducted in Indonesia indicated that financial problems were the most prevalent trigger that led to mental health issues, as stated by almost 60 percent of respondents. It was followed by loneliness and work pressure, with respondents shares of 46 percent and 37 percent, respectively. In the same year, stress and sleep disturbances were found to be among the leading mental health issues experienced by people in Indonesia.
