For the year 2023, the LEGO Group's carbon emissions came to a total of roughly 119 thousand tons. This is a notable decrease compared to the last couple of years, but still higher than the CO2 emission volumes recorded by the company between 2018 and 2020.
Although there is room for improvement when it comes to LEGO's carbon footprint, the company has drastically reduced how much of its waste goes directly to landfill between 2018 and 2023.
