The minimum wage for 2023 in Turkey was set to 8.5 thousand Turkish lira. According to a survey conducted in December 2022, the share of respondents who considered the last announced minimum wage not sufficient amounted to over 59 percent. On the other hand, nearly a quarter of the participants thought the newly set minimum wage was sufficient.
