In Portugal, MEO was, in 2021 and in 2022, responsible for 41 percent of fixed residential telephone accesses. NOS presented a decrease of 0.3 percentage points from 2021 to 2022, resulting in a share of 35.7 in the latter year. The third biggest provider was Vodafone, which increased its share of fixed residential telephone accesses by 0.5 percentage points, resulting in a share of 20 percent of residential telephone accesses in 2022.
