Cross-border e-commerce companies using tax software 2022, by revenue range

A worldwide survey carried out in 2022 showed that tax software provided by third parties was popular among big cross-border companies. 61 percent of cross-border e-commerce companies with annual revenue between 200.1 and 300 million U.S. dollars used this type of tax prep tools, whereas only 46 percent of smaller enterprises with revenue between 20 and 50 million U.S. dollars did the same. In-house developed software registered a smaller gap.
