Metaverse use and related e-commerce activities worldwide 2023
Only a minority of individuals conducted online activities on the metaverse as of 2023, as 36 percent of online users answering a survey were aware of the metaverse but had never used it. Nine percent of respondents purchased products after having tested them on the metaverse and seven percent of surveyed consumers used it in the shopping experience of luxury products.
