Distribution of internet connections in Portugal 2024, by access and region

In Portugal, the proportion of fixed internet connections among residents in 2024 was the highest in the region of Península de Setúbal, at a share of 89.6 percent. The Azores followed, with a share of 89.2 percent.

Mobile internet connections presented lower proportions than fixed internet connections. Greater Lisbon had the highest share, with 55.8 percent, followed by Madeira, with 53.8 percent.
