Corn was the most produced grain type in Ukraine. In the marketing year 2023/24, Ukraine's corn production reached 31 million metric tons. In the following 12-month period, the production volume was expected to decrease by four million metric tons. Ukraine's corn production was among the largest worldwide. Furthermore, the country is one of the major wheat producers. In the marketing year 2024/25, Ukraine was expected to produce 21 million metric tons of wheat, approximately two million metric tons less than a marketing year prior.
