According to a survey by Rakuten Insight conducted in March 2023 on the impact of inflation in South Korea, close to 68 percent of respondents aged 25 to 34 years old stated they felt the impacts of inflation in their grocery shopping. This was the most affected category across all age groups. The least it was felt in the category of personal care and health.
