Share of services in total export and imports in India FY 2001-2022

In financial year 2022, service sector accounted for 37.2 percent of total exports in India however, the sector made up to 19.2 percent of the total imports in 2022. The share of services in the world trade had increased in the past two decades and it is one of the primary drivers of domestic growth.
