According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in March 2023, about 63 percent of female respondents and 57 percent of male respondents in Taiwan reported that they actively sought out deals such as using coupons or buying discounted items to cope with the inflation. Meanwhile, more female respondents started buying cheaper groceries compared to male respondents.
