According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in March 2023, about 58 percent of respondents in Hong Kong reported that they actively sought out deals such as using coupons or buying discounted items to cope with the inflation. Meanwhile, 55 percent of respondents stated that they started buying cheaper groceries.
