According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in March 2023, about 67 percent of respondents in China reported a decrease in the frequency of leisure activities to cope with the inflation. Meanwhile, 59 percent of respondents stated that they actively sought out deals such as using coupons or buying discounted items.
