In a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in March 2023 in Hong Kong, about 78 percent of respondents aged 16 to 24 years reported that rising prices of groceries had the most significant impact on them. In addition, 43 percent of respondents in the same age group stated that inflation in transport cost was the most challenging to deal with.
